Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-09-16
1. Agreement to these terms
By creating an account or using SoundForce, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, if higher). If you're a minor where you live, a parent or guardian must have agreed to these Terms on your behalf where required.
3. Your account
You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us, for keeping your login credentials safe, and for all activity on your account. You can sign up with email/password, Sign in with Apple, or Sign in with Google. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access. You can delete your account anytime from Settings → Delete account.
4. The service
SoundForce lets you log concerts you've attended, attach photos and notes, see your live-music history as an interactive graph, and optionally add your listening data — by connecting Spotify or Apple Music, or by importing a listening-history file you exported from Spotify or YouTube Music. Only import files from your own account. We also pull public catalog and event data from MusicBrainz and Ticketmaster (or Bandsintown), and artist photos from Wikimedia Commons — we don't control the accuracy of that third-party data. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.
5. Your content and community rules
You keep ownership of the photos, notes, and comments you post. By posting, you grant us a license to host, store, and display that content, solely to run the app — this license ends when you delete the content or your account. You're responsible for what you post and agree not to post anything that infringes someone else's rights, is unlawful, hateful, or sexually explicit, impersonates someone, contains malware, or that you don't have the rights to share. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules. Copyright complaints: contact us at partytool.app@gmail.com with a description of the work and where it appears, and we'll investigate.
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Every photo, video, comment and profile posted by someone else can be reported, with a reason. You can block any user from their profile or from any list they appear in — a block takes effect immediately, hides the two of you from each other, and severs any follow between you; you can review or undo your blocks anytime in Settings → Blocked accounts. We review every report and act on it within 24 hours: the content is removed, and the account responsible is suspended or permanently removed where warranted. You can also reach us at partytool.app@gmail.com about anything you come across.
6. Acceptable use
Don't reverse-engineer or scrape the app, try to access other accounts or our systems without permission, use bots, interfere with ads, subscriptions, or rate limits, or use SoundForce for anything unlawful.
7. Constellation+ plans
The free tier is ad-supported; Constellation+ removes ads and unlocks extras. Constellation+ is sold as an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or annual) and as a one-time lifetime purchase, both billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play at the price shown at purchase — we never see or store your payment details. We use RevenueCat to manage your Constellation+ status. Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends; manage or cancel in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings, not in the app. The lifetime option is a one-time purchase, not a subscription: it does not renew, there is nothing to cancel, and it is tied to the store account you bought it with — tap Restore purchases on the Constellation+ screen to reactivate it on a new device. "Lifetime" means for as long as SoundForce is offered; if the service is discontinued (section 14), access ends with it. Refunds are handled by Apple/Google under their own policies, not by us. If we change pricing, existing subscribers will be notified before it applies to their next renewal, and a lifetime purchase already made is never affected.
8. Advertising
The free tier shows ads served through Google AdMob. We request non-personalized ads only: SoundForce does not read your device's advertising identifier (IDFA/AAID), does not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and does not build an advertising profile from your concert or listening data. Constellation+ removes ads entirely.
9. Third-party services
SoundForce integrates with Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music (through Google Takeout exports), MusicBrainz, Ticketmaster, Bandsintown, Wikimedia Commons, RevenueCat, and Google AdMob — each has its own terms and privacy policy. Buttons that open a song or artist in Spotify, YouTube, or Apple Music take you to that service, where its own terms apply. We're not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or practices, and connecting them is always your choice.
9a. Ticket links and affiliate commissions
Where SoundForce shows upcoming concerts, the ticket links may be affiliate links: if you follow one and buy a ticket, we may receive a commission from the ticket seller at no additional cost to you. Following such a link takes you to that seller's own website or app, where their terms and privacy policy apply — we are not the seller, we do not process ticket payments, and we are not party to your purchase.
Affiliate arrangements never affect which concerts we show you or the order we show them in. Recommendations come from your own library and listening data, and we do not rank, favour, or filter events by what they might earn us.
10. Intellectual property
SoundForce, its logo, and its underlying software belong to Maxence Lhuisset. Except for your own content, nothing here grants you any rights to our branding or source code.
11. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that catalog data sourced from third parties is accurate.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent the law allows, Maxence Lhuisset won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim won't exceed the greater of what you paid us in the past 12 months, or USD 50. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Maxence Lhuisset harmless from claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
14. Termination
You can stop using SoundForce and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the service, with notice where reasonably possible.
15. Changes to these Terms
We'll notify you in-app or by email before material changes take effect. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the updated Terms.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
